This is a little guide I threw together after a few moments of pondering over some of the current blackhat video marketing techniques. In case you haven’t heard of them, they include downloading and reuploading videos with url’s to your blog/parked page/cpa offers in the description, or watermarked on the video. None of that is really too blackhat though, and neither is this method in fact I’m pretty sure this is something more professional bloggers would do than spammy blackhat kids. This method isn’t new at all, but I’m sure some could find it useful.

Step 1) Write an article and then post it to your blog. (You could just post the video you make, but that’s not good for SEO purposes).

Try posts like; how to decontaminate your toilet, how to stop old dogs from peeing everywhere, how to find a mate fast, or something similar (less stupid) to that.

Then you’ll want to add a bunch of adsense and affiliate links to your blog, or just use a landing page. The more visitors you get from your video, the more money you’ll make in theory.

2. Tape yourself or your computer as you do the task that you are trying to teach people about. If I were to make a video for this article I would just show my screen as I viewed the article.. boring, but it works.

Popular softwares to use would be hypercam, camtasia, camstudio, or maybe fraps.

3. Once your done instructing people to do stuff in your video, open it up in a video editor like Windows Movie Maker. Of course if you have a mac you’ll have to use something else, and there are almost hundreds of options out there.

4. First of all, now you have the option to narrate your entire video. Basically what I would do is read the blog post outloud, minus the parts where you might ask people to click the link, or sign up here, since they can’t click really click on the video. If you wanted though, you could add annotations or links in the description for things you want them to sign up for.

5. Add the url of your website as a subtitle on your video. This way people will know where the video came from no matter how it is shared. You can include direct links to your website or blog post in the description of your video also.

6. Now is when you decide whether or not to promote your videos with blackhat methods. Depending on the quality of your videos, blackhat might be the only way to get a good view count.

Whatever you choose to do, this method could get you lot’s of visitors, and a niche video channel that many people will subscribe to if you create informative videos. Good luck video-affiliate-marketers.
