Passport to Wealth is this Opportunity for You?
While searching for a home based business online I Googled “home business opportunity”, and Passport to Wealth was one of the many which I was presented with. I went to one of the Passport to Wealth websites and filled our the contact information. I then waited to be contacted.
I then received a call from Mike, who is a really nice guy. He told me that the start-up for Passport to Wealth is $997.00. We also discussed some internet marketing strategies.
What are you Selling?
Once you sign up with Passport, you recieve a number of digital online marketing aids. Along with the products you receive a license to sell any of these as many times as you wish and, of course, the opportunity to market the business opportunity and recruit new members. I was then directed to a “business overview call”.
The business overview call was pretty straight forward. A leader spoke for about ten to twelve minutes to give an overview and her experience with the business. This was followed by some testimonials from other members, and then a question and answer period. It was asserted during the call that the product package had been valued at $75,000.00 WOW! It all sounded great so far.
How do I get Paid?
Passport to Wealth is structured as an “Australian 2-up”. I’m not comfortable with this type of program. You pass-up you first two sales to your sponsor. These are called “training sales”. Then it is expected that everyone you recruit will pass up two sales to you.
Having come from another “2-up” and having the lingering feeling that I’d been burned, I decided to pass on Passport. My biggest concern is that I’m putting a lot of time, effort and perhaps money into the opening of any business venture and then just as I begin to see the rewards . . . I’m giving them away . . . . $1,994.00 of rewards . . . WHY?
In Summary
Passport to Wealth is a real business opportunity with real products. The reason I chose to look elsewhere is the “2-up” comp plan. Why should you work so hard to get your business rolling and then literally give away money that you have earned? In this case $1,994.00
