2009 Chiropractic Marketing Strategies

by Matthew Loop DC

The best kept secret in chiropractic marketing has been coveted by DCs for the past two years to reach phenomenal levels of success. With this secret, chiropractors are able to quickly increase their exposure, brand themselves in their community while building credibility and trust, and utterly transform their financial profile almost immediately. Those who know the secret are still laughing about it with a cigar in their mouth, and those who havent known it have faced serious financial setbacks. And, wouldnt you know, this secret form of chiropractic marketing is totally free.

So what is the secret to marketing and financial success for chiropractors? The answer is the explosive world of chiropractic video marketing. When you use chiropractic video marketing and harness the power of online social media sites like YouTube and Facebook, you are going to take your chiropractic success to unheard-of heights. 2009 is the year when its going to erupt, and you want to be right there on the front lines. Imagine financial rewards and branding powers that work around the clock, 24/7.

Say hello to members of your community virtually, and share your practice and expertise with them. When people view videos on the internet, they somehow feel more inclined to trust you and use your services, because they sense they know you in some way. The more videos you have to share, the better. Say goodbye to print advertising. Say you have a video that you send to 30 different video sites online, and each received about 5 views a day on each site. Were talking 150 views a day for a grand total of 1,050 a week. Now, thats exposure!

If you were to do a pay-per-click campaign and pay just one dollar per click, you would spend over a grand every week to get that kind of exposure! Imagine if, instead of one video, you had ten videos. Are you beginning to see the power, yet? When I say this is the biggest secret of chiropractor marketing in 2009, it’s because it’s true. You must change with the times or you risk failure in business. Older forms of chiropractic marketing and advertising are only hurting your pocketbook and slapping you in the face with mediocre returns. That’s no way to live, really.

Video marketing is perhaps the easiest and cheapest way to get monumental amounts of exposure and respect on the internet. The amount of credibility and trust that you gain will put you in a prime position for success in all the months to come. Think about your videos as selling YOU– the product. More than your expertise or your practice, people want to believe in you, and buy into that product.

When I first began to make videos, I didnt even have a camera yet. I simply used my screen-capture software off my computer. These days, even little digital cameras have video capability, so youre going to be able to find something you can use to get started. The time is now to get started with this chiropractic marketing secret; and it wont be a secret for long. Did you know that over half the content online is video material? Start out by setting a goal to make one or two videos each week about your chiropractic practice. As for me, Im up to three a week, and seeing phenomenal returns.

The beauty part about video marketing is that theres no rejection involved. With video marketing, the patients come to you, and not the other way around. You put your information out in the cyber-world, and those who are interested will take note of it and act upon it. Make your videos genuine and honest. Tell your story, and show your personality so that people can get a sense of who you are. Once youve told your story, share things that are helpful for the potential patient, and keep focused on their needs.

Since discovering video marketing and implementing it in my chiropractic practice and other business ventures, my life has never been the same. I encourage you to begin your first video production today to get your feet wet. Just like anything, practice makes perfect. I assure you, this is going to be one heck of an explosive year for video!
